Presented by Mélanie Carbonneau, a Health Canada official, her perspective on regulations and events in the industry is invaluable.

Speaker’s Biography:
Mélanie Carbonneau holds a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology from Laval University and joined Health Canada’s Consumer Product Safety Program in 2019 as an inspector. Previously, she worked since 2010 with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, where she held various positions always related to enforcement. Prior to joining the public service, Ms. Carbonneau worked in the food industry, in quality assurance and in research and development.
